First Tampere parkrun of the 2018 behind us. 37 participants with 7 volunteers took part in another fine Saturday morning event. 12 first timers in Tampere event. Great! No PB's recorded this week but that is hardly a surprise as the conditions are better later in the spring. Can't wait route to clear up. There will definitely be plenty of PB's after Winter practices.

Temperature was close to zero with some snow and rain during preceding days. Luckily parkrun route is so well kept by Tampere City that organizing the event was an easy decision.

Our friends from Russia took the time to travel from Vuokatti by train to Tampere parkrun during their Winter Holiday. It was great to see you in Tampere. Hopefully we meet again!

Also Happy Birthday to Eetu. Nice run again today!
