This week’s parkrun was held in excellent conditions. It was 20 degrees warm and the sun was shining from the cloudless sky. This event had 51 participants and 8 volunteers, including 16 first timers who participated in this week. It was nice to see so many first timers in Tampere’s Parkrun. Also in this week, we had tourists from South Africa, U.K. and Russia. Thank you for visiting our parkrun!

All runners completed the route less than one hour. There were six participants who made their new personal best, congratulations! There were also other milestones like Erkki Rintala running his 10th Parkrun and Janne-Matti Koskinen who ran his 20th Parkrun, congrats!

After Parkrun, we had traditional coffee break in Sanna’s Café. Thanks to our grandfather Erkki Tiilikka, who paid his grandchildren drinks and sweets. This was Erkki’s 18th Parkrun. Thank you to all participants and volunteers. See you next week.
