Midsummer Tampere parkrun

It was a silent morning and the city looked like it had been deserted. A normal midsummer day in Finland. But this time there was something different. It was the first midsummer parkrun in Finland. What was learned is that, not the wind, not the clouds, not the slightly colder summer wheather and not even the midsummer day will stop parkrunners from having a parkrun and having coffee and cakes afterwards.

Thanks to all the participants and the volunteers. Once again your joy, your cheerfulness, your dedication and your participation made this parkrun special.

Unfortunately Petri H. had already left before taking the group shot so additional thank you goes there and to other members of Tiilikka family for helping out with clearing the start area.
